Abstract:
Training discusses what social stories are, how to write social stories, the different types of social stories, and the types of behaviors social stories help diminish in order to successfully increase social interactions between students. Social stories help students with autism and related disabilities to increase social skills and by teaching students to understand the thoughts and perspectives of other people and to more easily predict an individual’s actions and assumptions, a student can learn to build rapport.
